The Role

As an Audit Manager, you’ll take full ownership of managing a diverse portfolio of audit clients, leading assignments from planning through to completion, and providing strategic business advice. You’ll play a key role in developing client relationships, supporting your team, and contributing to the ongoing growth of the audit function.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing a varied portfolio of audit clients across a range of sectors
  • Leading audits from planning through to completion, ensuring high-quality delivery
  • Overseeing and reviewing work of the audit team and providing technical guidance
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships and identifying areas for improvement or added value
  • Working closely with partners and senior management on audit strategy and business development initiatives
  • Supporting, mentoring, and developing junior team members

About You

  • ACA / ACCA qualified with strong post-qualification experience within a UK accountancy practice
  • Proven experience managing audits from start to finish
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills
  • Commercially minded, with a proactive approach to client service and business growth
  • Experience with audit software (CaseWare, CCH, or similar) and cloud-based accounting platforms
